Sacred Spaces of the Past, Present, and Future

I have just recently returned from an amazing spiritual journey in Mexico with a group of about 65 people from Bulgaria. I have much to share from that experience, too much to put into one newsletter. So, in this first newsletter I am going to share the overall message I came away with from the trip. I will send follow up newsletters with more detailed description of the various activities we did as a group, activities that benefited us and all of you….
As I stood in front of the ancient Maya temple at Muyil preparing to give a channeled message to the group, I could feel power and familiarity. Before taking the step forward towards the group I had no plan as to what I would say, and I was not worried (the old me would have been panic stricken to step in front of a group of 65 people without a ‘plan’!).
I somehow just knew the words would be there, even if I did not know what they were going to be at that moment. And I was right. When I did step forward towards the group of people I felt a tremendous surge of power come into my body. This power, this energy, was different from what I was used to, yet it felt very familiar to me at the same time. I don’t remember all of what I said, but I did record it.
The part that did stay with me is what I want to share with you now. I remember calling upon the wisdom of the ancients who came before us, the wisdom of the ancients yet to come, and the wisdom we hold within ourselves at this time. I remember saying something to bring our wisdom together, uniting it in this here and this now.
As I have reflected upon the trip a great deal since my return home, I keep coming back to that moment. What I realized is that many of us spiritual seekers in this time have given our power away to cultures of the past, the ancients of the past. We have somehow believed that the Mayans, the Incans, the Native Americans, the Lemurians, the Atlantians, and so forth were somehow better than we were. We visit Sacred Sites created by those who have come before us, and we believed that they knew more than we did, or were more evolved spiritually than we are. In some ways that may be true, however, it is time we give ourselves some much deserved credit. It is time we remember who we really are. It is time that we consciously create the Sacred Sites that those who come after us will return to and visit.
We ARE the people of the past. We ARE the souls who inhabited those bodies of the people of those ancient cultures. We hold within ourselves the knowledge and wisdom of the past, present, and future. Yes, it is great to honor our history. It is important to take what knowledge and wisdom we can from our ancestors and use it in our lives today. AND, it is time we also realize that we ARE the ancient culture that others in the future will look back upon and say, “Wow, they really knew what they were doing! It was because of them that we are where we are today.”
As much as we are incorporating wisdom from the past, we are also creating something entirely new. We are taking what we have learned and applying it in new ways. For some time during my initial spiritual studies I felt like I was following a path. I was following a path that had already been laid out in front of me. Now, I feel like I am creating a path, rather than following one. I am using my knowledge of the past to help me navigate the steps, while I reach forward with vision to determine the direction I want my feet to take me on that path, in so doing I am creating Sacred Space in the here and Now. I believe I am walking step by step into uncharted territory and it feels GREAT! I believe that together we are moving into the great VOID and creating entirely new patterns, realities, and so much more. As students of creation we have now surpassed the teacher so to speak. We still have much to learn, and we will, but we are doing it differently now. The energy is different.
So now I ask you, “Are you following a path or are you creating the path? Are you visiting sacred sites created long ago, or are you creating the sacred sites for those yet to come? ”
